Strange days indeed...

Most peculiar brother.
Talking of which, my brother is coming to visit tomorrow. Which is probably just as well because I've been super busy.
I've been writing a paper for a conference. Eek! Madly. My co-authors are both overseas at the moment so it's been quite fraught and I've no idea if it's any good.
I'm meeting online with one tomorrow. It's due in Wednesday and just needs editing methinks.
Double eek.
Oh well we'll see how it goes. I could do with a trip to Italy.

Ridiculously bad day

Today has been a nightmare. I had a new washer and dryer installed and the hose we too short. So I got in the car to take bubs to Gymbaroo and thence to the hardware store and crunch.
Scraped the side of the car. Door won't open, it'll take a week to fix.
Humph.
The drain outside the flat is overflowing with effluent and my mother has arrived.
Can things get worse?
